These Australian-made air curtains from Fanquip are engineered to deliver a powerful, consistent airflow across doorways and openings, helping to separate internal and external environments without the need for physical doors. By creating an invisible barrier of high-velocity air, they reduce unwanted air exchange while allowing uninterrupted access for people, vehicles, and equipment.
Built with stainless steel construction and rated to IP56 for washdown duty, these air curtains are ideal for demanding applications where durability, hygiene, and performance are critical. They are commonly installed above doorways to help retain cool air inside conditioned spaces while limiting heat ingress, dust, insects, and airborne contaminants.
Each unit uses a high-efficiency cross-flow fan design to generate a uniform air stream across the full width of the opening. This ensures reliable performance under different conditions, including temperature variation, pressure changes, and frequent door cycles. The system also assists in reducing the movement of exhaust fumes, odours, and airborne particles between zones.
